The goal here was to follow along the making of a pottery cappuccino cup and put a first try into storytelling or reportage photography. From the very beginning to the end. Sadly we never found another date to shoot the firing and glazing process but I am really happy how the first round of images turned out.
So this is Tobi. He and his wife run a pottery business in Stuttgart, Germany. They make these beautiful and sophisticated pieces that catched my eye immediately. I had to reach out and asked if I could follow the process of making these. Thankfully they said yes and you get to look at the imagery now.
